FS: Triple Black 964 Targa '91

Very nice example of a '91 964 Carrera 2 Targa in rare color combo of triple black body has 148,xxx miles on it. I am helping a close friend sell this car who has owned it for the last 7 years, the car used to be mine I owned it from 2006 til I sold it to the current owner in 2011. Car was delivered in West Palm Beach, FL at Braman Porsche, still have the window sticker. Car comes with all owners booklets, original tool kit, air pump and still has the original Blaupunkt Stuttgart stereo/cassette. The car is in excellent condition, when I owned it I put in new carpet kit from Lakewell and redid the front seats in factory leather also Targa top was redone, the interior is a 9/10. The engine was just torn down and completely rebuilt by a close friend who is a factory trained Master Porsche Tech with over 30 years experience in local dealers (Motor Werks Porsche, Lynch Porsche and most recently Loeber Porsche). Brakes were just gone through also calipers rebuilt by PMB, car drives like new, recent receipts for $20k in work. Tires have lots of tread and design 90 wheels were recently professionally restored. Only thing that is that is not working is the AC when I owned it I charged the system a few times and it would work for awhile but I would figure it needs to be overhauled. My friend went out a bought a '15 Mercedes SL550 roadster when this car was in the shop so this is for sale. Priced to sell quickly at $42k firm.

Man that's nice, for a Targa! You're right, shouldn't last long at that price. You don't see many 964 Targa's that often. GLWS Mike.
BTW, I love Targa's as I have 4 of them

First person to look at this car and drive it will buy it. Through word of mouth I had one person come and look at this car and didn't even want to drive the car because he could not afford it and was hoping he could negotiate a lower price but realized it was too good of a car, its that nice!

I had exact same car a couple of years ago, not a big fan of targa's but the 964 version is much better, I'd buy another one.

Wished I could have gotten this to someone here, it is a great car with all the mechanicals in tip top shape. If anyone was at Parade this year and saw my '71 Targa same tech built that engine, Ed Mayo should remember it! I would have bought it back but my garage is full, I have known this car local to me since 1995. We shall see no money yet suppose to wire today, I do have 3 in line behind this buyer!
