'67 engine bay hard fuel line R&R PN 901.108.532.00

    Listers,

It looks like the hard fuel line is leaking where it comes through the driver's side longitudinal into the engine bay. This is not the hard line that runs through the center tunnel. The part number is 901.108.532.00 Here's a photo from an old thread on the 912 BBS where the fuel line looks to have been replaced but not threaded back through the longitudinal.

Does anyone know if it's possible to remove and replace the line without removing the engine? This AM I crawled under there and bent back the retaining clips and tugged a bit. It seems to be rigidly held in place by the longitudinal.

    Thanks!

can`t view the pic...but if it is leaking you need to replace it anyway--cut it in pieces rip it out and try install (without droping the eng.) a new one which is available from P...
or if you want a NOS one i know someone in austria who might have one.

It's only held in by a grommet on the entry and exit side of the longitudinal. Pull out from the bottom.

    Thanks Ed,

I'll give Stoddard a call tomorrow. Nothing shows up on-line except for the central tunnel fuel line.

    Moito,

    Would that someone be you?
