    '73 turn signal unit rubbers

    Dear Forum members,

I ordered new rubbers for the '73's turn signal units, but since I don't have a reference and they came together in one bag,
I can't tell which one is Left or Right..

There is a difference in the moulding on the side of the horn grille, so I tried to fit them both ways but I cannot see how they should be mounted.

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind Regards,
    Johan

I believe you are talking about the "Water Drain Sleeves" 91163125902. There are not left and right versions. See #37 in parts diagram.

    Dear Haasman,
I am talking about part 36, the rubber that goes around the edge of the housing and seals the lense.
    Thanks in advance!
    Kind Regards,

    Johan,
maybe they sent you two of the same side. They should be in there own bags if purchased from Porsche. You being unable to tell the difference suggests this might be the case.

    Hello Dave,

I ordered from RosePassion, so chances are they're from Stoddard or repackaged Originals.

There is a minor difference in them (on the edge where the lens is next to the grille)
So definitely Left and Right. I'm just not sure which is the one for the Left or Right housing.

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards,
    Johan

    seal

This is a picture of an original left side unit with seal. The pointy side should face the lens. Hope this helps.
