    Early targa shocks

    I need to replace the shocks on a 67 Soft window targa. I believe Boge were the originals. Koni seem to be available, but I remember the early order sheets for these car said something like "heavy duty shocks not available for targa models"
    I under stand that as the new soft window did not provide much chassis stiffness. Thoughts ?

    Absolutely Boge. Problem is that you can not find '67 Boges. Most people threw them away. '68 version is available if any are left. Could not find a source to rebuild Boges although I think Moito had a possible source in Europe.

    Rick, although technically you're right, I think I'd just use the Koni's, set them full soft and not look back. I'm sure you know Terry Zaconi and 'Marcel" you'd be amazed what he has for suspension on that 300,000 mile 68 Targa
