69-71 S Mg Oil Filter Console

For sale: Part # 901.107.901.00, which is called Oil Filter Bracket in the Porsche Catalog.
Each is Magnesium and have been freshly welded, coated and milled. I have a bit of grease on each to prevent corrosion.
As most of you know, this is an important piece for 69-71 S.
    $1250 each including shipping.
    Thanks for looking!
    Jay

These are still for sale. If I am asking too much, please make an offer.

Hate to say it Jay, but no, IMHO you're not asking too much.

I would buy both on the spot, but I have at least four of the Mag units on the shelf now. Are both of your oil filter consoles 'Mag', or 'Aluminum'? Nice work!

Maybe you should post a couple of good close-up photos showing details of the large O-ring seal area, where the repairs were made.

PS: Consider revising the 'heading of your post', you're not doing yourself any favors. More commonly referred to as the "Oil Filter Console", and if Magnesium, be sure and include it in the same sentence. I almost passed it while skimming the FS: headings. My .02 cents...

Frequently, the outer ring on this piece has corroded to a point that it is no longer usable. Both of these have had fresh Magnesium welded to the outer ring on the side where the gasket goes and the whole thing bolts up to the oil tank.
I hope that answers your question.
