    FS: 1970 911 Door Handles

I am selling a very nice set of 1970 911S door handles with light pitting on the triggers. I did my best to show the condition of the handles and triggers in my photos but please let me know if you need any more pics. $180 OBO

What makes you think those are 1970?

These came off my 1970 911S and I clearly incorrectly assumed that they are original. I have my flame suit on so I am ready for the flaming wrath of the forum for my mistake!

    Hi,

I like to take the door handles, I don't care if they came from a 71 or 72 or T/E/S

Not flaming, but there is a difference. 1970 handles are, I think, unique to the year because they place the lock's key slot horizontal. Quite noticeable on the car.

Top picture, the bottom handle is later than 71, could be 72/73 or even later. Indeed 70 has the horizontal key slot (and two other distinct differences from the 69, 71 door handles), easy to check with a key cylinder.
