    Tinware paint code

    Hi,
I'm getting all my engine tinware, air filter and engine mounts repainted ('70 911T). The painter asked me what finish I should go for. I've read that it all gloss, including the tinware, but I've only ever seen tinware in matt / silk finish.

Can anyone confirm the correct original finish and recommend a paint to use.

    Many thanks

    Paul

Wurth supply an appropriate semi gloss or silk. Available in the UK when you next visit. Although some powder coat the tin ware with a silk finish.

    Paul -

Engine mounts flat black, glossy washers. The tin gets 80% gloss black. Danke!
