    HELP! Need Correct mounting for SWB snailshell horns

    Neighbors,

    I've searched the site but cannot find photos of the correct mounting configuration for snail shell horns. Can anyone provide some photos?

    My '67 912 has a "snail" horn on the driver's side and a "disc" horn on the passenger's side which I believe is correct. I can't say for sure if the mounting is as original but when I bought the car, they appeared to have been like this for a long time:

    here is whats on a 66
    and what i did on a 3081xxS(copied from a 3055xxS)

    also seen the horns mounted to the bumper bracket...i think there is plenty of horn/bracket/position horn type variations...911/912 also differ as far as i could tell from the parts book
