Early 911 VDM Wooden Steering Wheel

This VDM wheel was originally equipped on a 1968 911 I owned many years ago, was removed and has been in dry storage for more than 25 Years. It is original and has never been restored or re-lacquered. It is in need of restoration but is in overall good condition. There are a couple of splintered/ chipped areas in the wood (photos) and the top half as well as the bottom will need to be re-adhered to the frame, but all of this would be part of a restoration process anyway. The frame is straight and true with a few areas where the black paint has worn off. The inside of the wheel hub has the the numbers "739" stamped, which I've been told indicates the 39th week of 1967 as the date of manufacture. Even in the condition it is in, with the wood properly re-adhered to the frame it would be a very nice and presentable drivers wheel. $800 or offers. I'll include shipping CONUS, AK & HI actual cost. PayPal F&F preferred or add 2%.
