1969 s Long Block core sold

    Sold thanks for looking

Porsche 1969 911S Core Long Block Engine,
Engine number 6391250, engine type 901/10
At some point in this engines life it was modified by installing 2.2L Piston
and barrels, 1967 911S heads that were modified to seal against the 2.2L
barrels were also installed so that the engine could use carburetors instead
of the MFI fuel injection. We are including with this engine a set of 2.0L
911E heads that are date stamped 11/68, these heads can be ported, and
valves installed to create a set of 911S heads. The engine had been
partially dis-assembled when we received it and we have just loosely screwed
it back together for shipping purposes. The engine does rotate though we did
not turn it a full 360° as the timing chain and camshafts are only loosely
installed and valve timing may or may not be close enough that valves would
hit pistons. The parts bag on top of the engine contains the 6 rockers and
rocker shafts along with the cam retaining and chain wheel parts. The engine
is missing both chain tensioners. The camshafts installed in the engine
appear to be the correct cams though we have not measured them to ascertain
    whether they have been re-ground.
This engine is a rebuildable core only and will require re-building before
use. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Shipping will be via LTL freight and will be quoted at the time of sale
based on the ship to address.
    $10,000

I can provide 69S heads, pistons and cylinders if somebody wants to restore this motor to original.
