Here is my setup. I have a Mono Becker Mexico but the sound with the dash speaker was not great. Couldn‘t hardly hear anything besides the music from the engine compartment 😉. I bought a small amplifier with a high level input and installed it in the smugglers compartment. I also had some 2 way speakers left from one of my former cars which I could use. Now I finally can listen to the radio and all components can be uninstalled if I want to go back to original settings.

For anyone looking for a quality car amp, this YouTube channel reviews lots of them, and some perform far better than others.

I'm using a Bluetooth headphone amplifier, connected to a 3.5mm audio-to-DIN cable that plugs directly into the back of my Blaupunkt Frankfurt and plays through the stock dash speaker. Works perfectly and has never run out of charge even after all-day use.
