    FS: Large Durant Mirror

    Nice outside mirror with new glass for '68 - '71 cars. Comes with attaching hardware. Price is $275 shipped in the USA.

    Hi Mike. I thought the points of the star were supposed to point at different letters, not the M and Y... not challenging, just trying to extend my knowledge...

    My guess this is the second version/supplier mid-70's it has the correct shorter stationary threaded bolt that matches the length of the sliding one. The stamped stars are little higher than the original ones that point at the "A's" but my guess is this was the replacement one the dealers were selling back in the seventies, the metal finish on mine is exactly the same. Here is a factory delivered one:
