    swap MFI pumps

    Hi,
I have a 1973 911E which has been passed to 40 weber carbs a few years ago by the previous owner. I have the opportunity to buy a mfi pump + system that comes from a 1973 911T.
Does anyone know if they are the same? If yes, will I need to adapt the pump, make changes to it if I ever want to install it?

Thanks for your answers and sorry for my english, I'm from France.

The throttle bodies and plastic stacks are a larger bore size in the 2.4E as compare to the 2.4T. The injection pump also has more capacity in the E than the T.

They are not the same, but will bolt on with no problems fitting. The 2.4 T MFI system for the 72 - 73 was for the lower compression ( 7.0:1 ) engine along with the mild T camshafts. Your 73 E has 7.5:1 ( IIRC ) compression and a little more aggressive cams. If you end up getting the 73 T MFI system and installing it your engine will run a little lean in a few areas. If you have a good mechanic that is very familiar with the MFI pump adjusting the system can be made to work somewhat but not perfect. If you can find the correct E MFI system, it would be the best choice and of course run better.

Thanks for you answers, I will take time to think about it and maybe see if I can find a 2.4E pump instead.
