    SWB left and right gas tank supports

    Hello Everyone
    Maybe I can get some info. I have these left and right Gas Tank supports suppose to be NOS does anyone know if these holes should be there? Name:  DM 6 look at hole right side.jpg

    The headlight wire harness goes thru those holes to the 'J' pipes.

    Ed I am talking about the other smaller holes near the edge of the support . On the drivers side it has a captive nut on it . Which I am un sure of its purpose. I think these were a Porsche one size fits all on the drivers side because that capitals nut
    Appears to be where the battery hold down bracket would be on a later SC type battery would be.
    The passenger side is just a hole . I really am not aware of any need for that one would be there for.

    They are for the battery straps to screw into on a dual battery box car.
