    Tinted Glass Help

    I have a71T with option tinted glass 568 . The car has all the original glass except the windscreen. Hoping to be advised of the following

    1 Is it likely the car left the factory with tinted front windscreen and if so does that mean the entire windscreen or just the top band ?

    2 There are aftermarket windscreens available from the usual suspects with the Sigla logo and there is a choice for clear and tinted. Would the tinted option be the entire windscreen or just the top band ?

    The car has left the factory with a tinted windscreen (entire).

    The tinted option is usually for the entire windscreen (not just the band).

    Usually not Monty... there is always the exception, but if 'tinted glass' is stated (like my '73), it was all around...

    Early 911 windshields were not 'banded' on top, just fully tinted...

    These fully tinted early windshields are available ….
