    Crank Bearing Help.

I am looking for a supplier of a crankshaft bearing part number
    901 101 13878.
This is NLA from Porsche and the usual suppliers in Europe who sometimes have hard to find parts can not help. I understand that some specialist engineering companies in the USA manufacture bearings for early 911 aircooled engines.
    Thanks for any help.

I believe you’re thinking of Rauch and Spiegel. They used to make one.

You may need to bite the bullet and buy a std crank and have the case machined back to standard.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Does not sound like good news.

For the record telephoned Rauch & Spiegel and they make the bearing I am looking for in small batches. Currently out of stock though.

Give Henry at supertec in Fallbrook a call. He has some odd bearing sizes.
