Has John Dilger's email been hacked?

I received an email from John stating he had shared a Dropbox file with me, and included a dodgy link... (which I did not click)...

    Lee,

Was that something you just found today in your junkmail… or was it something that you received today...

John thought he got this handled...

If it's recent then he's/we're not out of the woods...
