    911s 1970

    hello all,
    I am looking at this 911S of MY1970 for sale.
    I have some doubts about the engine case stamping.
    Can anyone have a good look and comment about it please ?

    “Bowser” is yankee slang for dog.
    A mutt is also a dog.

    That case number is a mess. Internal # on the horizontal surface may help solve mystery.

    In your pic above the internal number is barely visible, but at least it's there. What is that number?

    I will not bother anymore with the car, the engine number was what broke the camel's back ;-)
    Too much work on the rest for the asking price of the car.
