    Orange bar hood badge

    Hi,

I have too many hood badges so this one needs to find another hood. A bit of patina and pins are re-soldered. I find it difficult to photograph and show the real colours, hence the front under different light conditions. The darker is more 'real life' Asking $300,- shipping included.

    Best regards,

    Cees

Nice badge, I like the inflection above the P.

Thanks Chris. The long P has been noticed in other badges as well. There was probably no rejection policy at manufacturing at the time, plenty of other badges have the same P.

There are a coupe of threads here regarding Badge flaws,, they are not that uncommon but are interesting.

I notice that the pin on the right is slightly lower than the left. Is that an issue when mounted? Does the badge look straight while mounted?

    Thanks,
    Joel

    Hi Joel,

I think you are right, let me check next week. I'll put it on a hood and come back to you.

    Regards,

    Cees

Checked the badge on a long hood and indeed out of line so that needs to be rectified. I'll report back when it is done.

    Thanks for letting me know.

Just broke a pin on one of my badges. Where's you get the replacements?
