    Coat hook....what color?

These are the coat hooks out of my '66 with an off white/cream headliner. What color should they be? Thanks

I'm pretty sure when I got it, my '65 had tan/beige rubber coat hooks (same shape).

    According to:Brett Johnson's The 911 & 912 Porsche: A Restorer's Guide to Authenticity[page 71]:

Cloak pegs (coat hooks) were mounted behind the interior lights and were again leftover 356 parts. The original version was tan rubber. For the 1968 model year it became black vinyl.

Finding the correct "rubber" material now might be a challenge. Some on-line pictures show a slick, plastic-looking material.
