    Hallo Adam,
so perhaps it is interesting to see a swedish Rallye car from 1968 with speedpilot which seems to have a history as a Rallye car at http://porsport. com/1968_swedish_rallye_912.
It would be interesting to get further informations from Porsche Werk. Did you contact Marc Noack for further informations?
    Kind regards.

The Jordanian's sent me over another batch of cool photos today. I love this one, because everyone goes racing with guys with machine guns, I love it! The article will be coming out in Panorama, it's shaping up to be a good one.

The King was best buds with Jim Kimberly well known gentleman racer of the 50's and early 60's. Trivia, The King bought Jim's Florida home when the Kleenex ran low.

Another thinly veiled "for sale" ad by Adam Wright. I'm getting tired of having to read this cr*p. I fully expect this post to be dumped immediately so I am taking a screen shot of it. Those that missed it can email me at easypor@sbcglobal.net.

    Regards

    Jim

Jim, first rule in posting controversial and provocative tidbits is to never assume that the Ivory Tower will keep any part of your post. More often than not the whole thing vanishes. Just like collusion conspiracies.

    Poof!

    Watch and learn grasshopper.

Cannot say that Adam's post #12 didn't raise my eyebrows after all that has gone down here in NZ.
From memory the Censorship Ivory Tower Dwellers gave my "tread" a blasting.
'All fair in love and war" I guess ,,,, whatever,!!!

Ok, let me repeat this for you guys in the back. The car is NOT FOR SALE, it's going into my personal collection, along with my A Coupe that won at Daytona, which also isn't for sale. The last time I sold one of my personal cars was when I bought the house I'm in now, I needed money for the down payment so I sold my SC Coupe, and I didn't even advertise it, one phone call and it was sold. But hopefully that will be the last personal car I will ever have to sell, I don't plan on moving again. Also in the collection is my AMG Benz that I've had for over a decade, my B Roadster that I've had for over a decade, my 993 which I brought back from the dead last year, and my 65 Mustang Fastback, the Mustang is probably the only car I would consider ever selling, only because I bought it on a whim.

I'll also have to make room for the two cars I'm building, my 904 and my aluminum 550, but I have years before I need to worry about finishing those.

The King's car I'm writing a story on for Panorama, you can read all about it next Fall/Winter.

Jim, you have really turned into one angry, bitter dude.

I did grow up in GA, but it was in Fulton County, not Hazzard County. In Atlanta nobody rocked that flag.

I think you are reading my comment on that picture all wrong, let me better explain what I meant. King Hussein lived a very dangerous life, surviving multiple assassination attempts over the years. Rather than hide in his palace he enjoyed life and his passions, one of which was racing cars. This picture exemplified this fearlessness, but was also a strange juxtaposition of the King displaying his lust for life while also being heavily guarded. I found it ironic that he was probably the only person who raced a 904 but needed an armed escort in order to race safely. My comment was not a reflecting anything to do with a love for machine guns and I'm sorry you took it that way. I hope you understand more about what I was trying to say.
