    Targa Bar detailed pictures

    Hello,

does anybody have some detailed pictures of the base of the targa bar?
I'm about to install the targa bar, but I don't have any reference on the height of the rubber strip.
Can't find good pictures on google..

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind Regards,
    Johan

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

    But I'm still missing something..

Is the chrome strip supposed to be partly under the targa bar?
(would be the most logical thing)
Chrome strip is not fixed by the speed nuts yet, just want to check this out first.

Targa bar fits within chrome strip.

Technically that's impossible with my car, because the chrome strip is too close to the side of the window then.
It is mounted the way it should with all screws present under the window rubber, so no way I can get it further away from the window.

Leaves as culprit the targa bar, but..

The targa bar is flush against the rubber on the side of the window, so no way of getting it closer to the window to fit within the chrome strip?
on the side of the targa bar rubber, all tiny 3.9x9mm self tapping screws are in the original location without being forced.

I have the same issue on both sides. No aftermarket or non original Porsche parts were used.

Try removing some of the targa window rubber on the outside , so the hoop can be pushed in.
    Just finished installing mine.
