It was sure a beautiful day. Your car looks extra great in the top photo.

And as of now, I have totally waffled on the sale, and have withdrawn the car from the market. I'm not quite ready to not have it, not yet.

Understood Arne....if I was in the market for a car like yours (and I almost am), I would want yours hands down.
What you've done to elevate that car is nothing short of amazing to me.
Enjoy the car in good health until you really are ready to let it go.

Actually, the transformation from as delivered on March 1, 2019 (just a few days after "Sno-pocalypse") and now is a little amazing to me, too, even though I've done similar transformations in the past, and hope to do more in the future. It has turned into a really nice car—but not so nice that I'm afraid to drive it. Which makes it just right for me. So I'll hang onto it for a bit, until I decide I need a different experience.

Good to hear you're keeping the car for now. I think as it is, it's absolutely perfect as a driver. In my opinion, the 2.4T/MFI engine is fast enough and makes the right noise but of course sometimes we also lust for something else! The only solution is to have multiple Porsches. Do you ever miss your '84 Carrera?

Nice going Arne! I've never regretted keeping one but a lot of regrets the other way.

    Cheers,
