Ask those guys that are Joking around about people selling trinkets like this on the "Parts for Sale" board. That piece is probably not "Cool Enough" to be allowed on this Forum.... (I thought that was what this Forum was all about......Got extra crap.....Need extra special trinkets...).

    Good Luck with you hunt!!!

John, I actual probably have that piece. I have about 4 sets of door internals... Can you show me a picture of the larger mechanism, where it goes?

I actually did think of hijacking that thread with this item! I'll get a photo of the larger mechanism...

Yea, I was thinking of chiming in myself.....but I trying to explain one's short comings to a Narcissist is definitely as waste of time. I think this Forum is great. I replaced my front inner reinforcement, where the battery sits on in my '66 911, and I accidentally threw the scrap piece I cut off out. Then I got inside, and needed that piece that goes just to the left of the clutch pedal area.... I saw this tread in the Technical area, where someone was asking about information on an NOS piece. I asked the guy if he was going to use the back part that I needed..... Well he ended up sending me his scrap piece, along with the exterior matching piece, that he didn't need..... would not take any money, even for shipping.

Here is the clip installed on a 65 door lock mechanism. It was changed to another design at some point.
