    Dash light bulbs?

    My 1972 Dash lights are decent, but is there something to make it look "new".
    Same for the heater comtrol backlights?

    There are different expectations for "new" today. Back in the day it did not mean blindingly bright LEDs. Removal of 50 years of dust and dirt can sometimes work wonders.

    I use 6v and dial the rheostat knob down a bit to avoid burn out. I've been happy with the result.

    Too many large animals on the roads at night here. Elk, bison, moose and grizzly bears. Little Porsches do not stand a chance so we should rather spend our money on good driving lights.

    When I was young I thought they were too bright! I subbed with LED'S and they are still not bright enough.
