    Clutch cable - grease/no grease??

As a follow up to my throttle rod/bushing grease question, I would appreciate thoughts on the same for the clutch cable. Here again, all the cables I've seen or taken off has a liberal application of what appears to be a wheel bearing type of grease that lubricates the steel cable inside the white plastic tube it runs through. Since I'm installing a new one that is clean, checking on thoughts as to the need, and if so, traditional grease - or a white grease as Ed mentioned he uses on the throttle rod/bushing interface. Thank you!

SWEPCO 101 Moly.....great stuff for cables. linkage, wheel bearings. Used it for years without issues. ("White grease," Lubriplate is too light for cables)
