Thread: Spacer size with 7R?

    Spacer size with 7R?

I'm going to run 7R wheels with 185/70 Pirellis at all 4 corners of my non-flared car.
What size spacers should I use?

On a LWB car, 7mm minimum to clear on the inside. Not sure if non-flared is SWB.

I have always used a factory Turbo 21mm hubcentric spacer on the rear.

I ran 7R's on all for corners with 205/60's on my 73. + factory 7mm spacers, and 68 or RS wheel studs that are 10mm longer than stock for 20 years or so before refinishing and selling them. It was my choice to minimize spacers.

    7r

I can only speak for the rear. The factory spec required 21 mm spacers when using the 7R wheels ("... müssen 21 mm dicke Distanzringe verwendet werden"). Longer wheel studs (72 mm) also required. On my 1970 2.2S it looks like this.
