    Rubber Strap

    Rubber strap from '72. Rubber end to end 13"...pretty good condition. $45.00 shipped in the US. Paypal ok.

    What did this fasten down?
    If its original, I want it. But I don't ever recall seeing strap like this.

    I too don't know what it is for...have restored a 70, 72, and 73 and the canisters are held in with a somewhat curved sheetmetal piece with a hold in the center and rubber straps on either end that wrap around the charcoal canister and hook together. Its mounting nut is on the trunk floor adjacent to the left side battery box.

    looks like a rubber strap for the later 356 cars, to hold the fuse panel cover or the washer bottle

    I've had it for years, thought it was from a '72 that I parted out. But, maybe not.
