    Many years in the desert has 'nature etched' it to the point where driving into the Sun is a worry but what else am I going to do, pull it out and put it in the arctic? ;-)

    A few years later, but there is a current thread now where they are talking about customizing Siglas from the current iteration of the original manufacturer (Post Title: "European source for Sigla front windscreen?") FWIW, my '74 911 that rolled off the line in October '73 has the exact same markings as your '73E. I'm also the former owner of a 73E. Was my favorite, except the color (Sepia Brown).
