    Prefix "N", correct for 1977

    Not familiar with the alpha prefix on the Becker's is 1965=A, 1966=B and so on?

    1965 begins with "A," "I" gets skipped because it looks too similar to "1."

    I understand it to be:

    A = 1965
    B = 1966
    C = 1967
    D = 1968
    E = 1969
    F = 1970
    G = 1971
    H = 1972
    J = 1973
    K = 1974
    L = 1975
    M = 1976
    N = 1977
    P = 1978

    Not sure if it is calendar year or their manufacturing year but close enough for government work

    I see a lot with the Mercedes Benz knobs rather than the correct for Porsche Becker knobs -- presumably the sets get removed and repurposed across marque.

    Also ( not specific to this listing but just a passing comment) often the Mexico radiocassette is the wrong one the 72/3 year which Porsche used a particular model with noticeable feature but it is not unusual to see different variant claiming to be Mexico used by Porsche for 72/3.
