Got home a bit early from skiing (Telemark rules!), and got some time to empty the car and start piling stuff on the shelves.

That Frank Beck guy is a sleazy used car salesman! Left rear slick tire won't hold air for more than 3 days.

I am getting an idea of the work in front of me, and it seems manageable. I need to get the engine/gearbox out, but it'll wait until I have a rolling table built.

Some pics fory ou guys. Engine is matching, yeah! (knew it, but nice to confirm).

Oh yes, I have a few extra rear bumpers, of 2 different types. Can someone enlighten me as to which is the correct one? The others will be edit: returning to Frank.

    70,
    Plan is:

1-Take my time. I am counting with 5 years minimum.
    2-Mechanically remain 2.0
    3-Remove sunroof
4-As of today, I am thinking mild gentleman sport/lightweight mods, alloy rear lid, some sport seats, Cibies, large fuel tank.

But, plans change with time. First real order of work is to finish the shell, then dip it and repaint it, a '69 color, but likely not Irish Green.

Today I went through the parts, and 2 have me stumped:

Still CANNOT believe you're filling the hole.

Sunroofs are highly coveted by us Yanks.

As for unidentifiable parts... its possible the guys were using for a dumpster before we loaded it up for you.

Frank, I see where you're coming from, but

-I am rather tall, and need the headroom.
-Lots of worn/ru$$ted/broken parts in the sunroof mechanism.
-The opening is a joke on the 911.
-I don't care a bit about the "weight up there", but I care about leaks.
