2.5 short stroke LN Nickies and JE piston set

I am selling a new in boxes LN Engineering 89mm Nickies cylinders and JE 10.5-1 pistons set for 66mm crank complete with rings pins and clips. Top quality. LN sells this set for over $5500, my price $3900. US shipping preferred. Im going 2.6 instead. Photos on request.

Hi, Good Morning, I have a couple of questions ...

Just to confirm - these LN’s will create a 2.5 when on a 66mm crank, producing a 10.5-1 CR (which is what I want to build on my 2.2) My question is that at 10.5-1 CR I would presumably need a twin plug ignition system and an MFI to successfully run the motor? (Versus Weber’s and standard ignition)

    Thank you ...

Just because the pistons are 10.5, doesn't mean that is where you will end up. You must comp the engine and you can drop maybe 1/2 point comp with a little work. 10.2 or 10.3 will work with single plug.

    Obviously THAT depends on fuel.

Requested photos. I dont see an issue with Webers vs. mfi, fuel consistency could be an issue. Now back to Daytona, go Alonso.

    Slidefest out there.

Rain always the great equalizer. Getting a kick out of everyone whining... it's racing.

Remimds me of my ice racing days. My hair started going gray after my first race.

Our motorsports culture has become so spoiled with safety equipment and nerf-walled circuits the inherent risks of motor racing have all but vanished. When I hear pro drivers say "it's very dangerous out there" I think "YES! It's supposed to be!"

Sorry; this is a great topic for another thread. Back to forged pistons, Nikasil, and compression ratios.
