    Help - Engine Lid Seal

I went to install the engine lid seal (the one with the cutouts for the license plate lights) today. Shouldn't the two cutouts at either end line up with the bolts for the bumper guards? Anyone else experience this or am I missing something?

BTW.....It's not the seal as I have several others that fit yhe same way.

Thanks much. Makes sense. Bumperette bolts are temporary.
