I fail to understand how that is an extended hub. Can you develop? the ones I have seen are between the wheel and the splined hub, riveted in.

THIS IS NOT AN "EXTENDED HUB". It is the crap that is taken off the back of a 70/71 914/4 steering wheel and thrown away. Then the wheel is sold as a "Carrera RS" wheel. The part I don't get, though, is that you have a 72 or later 914 steering wheel pictured. I don't think that "extended hub" came off that wheel.

Jim has spoken the truth. I had a sigh of relief when I read his response.
380mm '72 914 wheel with an earlier plastic 914 adapter. As such, price may need some adjustment.
