    Question on this wire 1971

    Overall the wiring in the car is all original

    I will guess there is a short somewhere in the yellow wire as it enters into the engine compartment to rear electrical panel to 12 pin connector and finally from the 12 pin to the starter.

    Or a poor connection or break in the yellow wire .

    Remote start would be my guess, but hey, I've been wrong plenty of times before.
