    Drive flange seal

Anyone know the seal number for a 70 T magnesium case transmission drive flange seal?, all i can find are aluminum case seals and the OD is smaller than the Mag case seals. All the usual suspects only list the aluminum case seal!.

69 mag thru 86 915 use the same seal. Do yourself a favor, pay extra and get them from Porsche, all normal gasket set seals are poor, I only use Porsche seals in my overhauls. Gordon

Well I have two 999-113-058-50 45x65x10 Elring seals sitting next to my Transmission and they are what everyone is selling and they are too small by the OD to fit in the recess of the case, if i had bought the expensive Porsche seal version I would have be even more infuriated than i am now, I will cross the old ones in a National seal catalog and go from there,

The Porsche number is 999.113.183.40; the seal size is 45x68x10.
Which of "all the usual suspects" don't list this oil seal? Here are two that do:

Well, again even Stoddard includes 65 in this application, which we know is wrong. Chill cast trans shouldn’t be included. I’ve had many Elring seals leak, not all, but enough. Pelican you’ll see sells the Porsche genuine at 3 times the cost. Didn’t have my part numbers at first response, thanks Jon.
