^^^^ Wheeeeeeeeee! Wishing some of those cars might venture out on the streets from time to time. Everyday traffic is sadly a boring parade of black, greys and white.
If only manufacturers would bring back the option for uniqueness.

Happened across some bright new cars at a lapping day yesterday! Curiously my old car is the dull one.....at least colour wise.
Even my shirts are colorful!

Ok, so I'll take you down the road I've traveled to get Signal Green Glasurit correct paint. 1972 Signal Green code #7878 is NLA from Glasurit. So, I ordered a half pint of the new code #078 and sprayed it on half a hood. It wasn't correct so I had BASF send me the original formula to find out which toners were discontinued. 2 toners M96 and M40 have been discontinued. So, I found them in the UK and bought them. I found a quart of each toner. I had Industrial Finishes mix it for me and it's great. This is the 72 formula not the new GT3 paint to sample Signal Green which is a different code all together. There's quite a few different formulas for Signal Green based on the year. What you're seeing in the pics is on the 2 tone hood the darker green is the new formula #078. The lighter more yellow color is the original formula with original toners #7878 Signal Green. The hood that you're seeing just the under side of is an original paint Viper Green hood. Never repainted.
