    I was reluctant to post a 914, but I'm not the first to do it.......

    April 25th 1973 This car was traded in for a 911 in late 1972.

    I was 18 and my dad co-signed..

    Got my '73 911E Targa in April ' 84....So that makes it almost 35 years.

    Great pictures! There is a brown 71 911T in the background of one of your pictures that was bought by me in Aug 1973. It was just a used car back then.

    Thanks! Yep, I spotted it back there and almost called it out, but had to think about whether it was a T or not. Also, a little bit of Chuck's branding is seen in the background, along with a familiar oval.

    We still need to grab that lunch, with a recorder ON.
