    correct seatbelt door panel for 1973 S

    My car came with two different rear interior panels: Which is the correct one? The one on top has had some box (?) attached to it, but isn't present now. "Elephant" grain seems different as well.
    Thnx for any "period-correct" info.

    The 72 U.S. cars had the add on box for the retractor. I think 73 may have also used that one. Probably 74 and later the 'box' was built in .

    For a Coupe the top one is correct, you can still see then indent of the seat belt cover. The bottom one is post 73.

    Yes unfortunately. Repro's are available though. Eckert I believe and CarPoint.

    I‘ve two or three pairs left. Last set 72/73 reels left.
