    Wiper assembly installation

At the point of mounting the wiper arms,
but before I continue, does anyone know how far the threaded part should stick out above the nut?

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind Regards,

Thanks, they're tight, but not too tight.

When I install the rubber cover, it squishes almost completely over the chrome washer. Is this normal?

If you mean the hard plastic cover,,,,it sits over the nut, not under it.

In my case the hard plastic is a new rubber replacement.
I put it over the nut, but when installing the wiper arm, it gets pushed down and squishes over the chrome washer.
    Guess I need more height.

How tall is your new rubber "replacement" ? The original plastic cap is 7/16ths.
