It's very likely you should look for wheels with earlier dates..

    Hi Mathieu

My car was delivered march 66 and wanted to go back to original.
Why do you recommend to look for earlier dates ?

    Thanks

If your car was delivered in March of '66, your wheels would of been manufactured months before that. I would look for a set between September and November of '65.

+1 - unlikely Porsche would have wheels from the month of manufacture of the car on the shelf, they were getting these manufactured and delivered to the factory in bulk ahead of time, so likely at least a few months earlier than the car build date.

Francois, try to see if Adam may have a set that works for you, he's got a LOT of wheels, painted and chromed, that may work for you

    Adam often advertises wheel sets
