    End of an era

I stopped off at my friend Dick Hyland's place this week to load up some last parts, and it was eerily empty. Many a Porsche went through there, my engine was re-built there and is still going strong.
Even Dick's 911S has been sold and is gone, back left in the picture.
    Thanks for the memories Dick!

Yea ...I go by there several times a week (live a couple miles away) Dick was allways avaiable with good advise, not the kind of throwing money at a problem advisce
Good to look around at the projects..last time there was a Carrera motor on the stand.

Glad you got a last look, the house has been sold. Sad to see the magic end.

Very sad indeed, the man was a legend, especially in these parts.

The houses new owner will be suprised when they go behind the shop...bits of half buried 356 sticking out of the ground

Nope, all that's gone, but it was fun to walk around in.
