    WTB: ignition lock metal cover

I am looking for the metal cover of the ignition lock. That is only the cover that goes on the screw-on bezel, not the bezel itself. Some PO got rid of mine.
If someone has a nice little patinated one - preferably not at all concourse - somewhere on his attic I'd appreciate a short reply.
Please also reply if it is with the bezel. Then I will rip it apart by myself to have it without the bezel ;-)

I will get my "Geodreieck" out tomorrow and measure it.
As much as I found out there should be only 2 IDs:
    '66-'69 13mm
    '70-'73 18.7mm
is this correct? I'd say from memory mine is more like 18.7mm.

I have one from my early '72, somewhat patina'd. I'd planned on refurbishing it to put it back on the car when I get to redoing the interior, but am open to offers.

Here's a picture of the ignition lock. The cap is 16.4mm/ .645" in diameter.

I just saw there is an aftermarket replacement available. Dunno if the cover is metal though. Looks a bit more like plastic on the pics:

Thx Arne. I'll give it a thought. No clue what that cover could go for...

But note that the center hole in mine is just under 19mm. Doesn't appear to be the one you need.
