Did I order the wrong points for my 1973 911T 2.4 mfi

Replacing the points on my 911, but when I took the cap off the points are facing the opposite side.

Your distributor is early. There was a mid year change in distributors in 73 to the type of points u got. Order early parts and make sure they don’t give u the same points.

You could do the Pertronix upgrade and never have to worry about points again.

The Pertronix still has to be for the early distributor.

+1 for Pertronix. I run this on my 73 and have zero issues.
