    Yes I have owned since new, I did not buy this one in Europe, US model bought from Texas dealer. That jack was always a teeter totter, always chocked the wheels when I got a flat. When it sank into the asphalt I left the twisted remnants.
    Tires have gotten so much better over the years,(or roads), I used to get a flat at least once a year.

    Cheers David. Hard to argue with input of one owner from new especially that roadside jack failure would stick in my memory too.

    My 73 911 came to me with a pressed steel screw jack and since toolkit and many other parts of car are factory original seemed unlikley cast one was swapped out... but I've only had it since early 90s so can't personally go back to 73.

    84102 purchased in '85 FINALLY started driving it (2/2015)
    '73 911T original paint sunroof coupe waiting in the wings
    3 gauge Holbert 912... now for something completely different
    1940 Mercury town sedan
