RGruppe/Early911SRegistgry Coffee and Doughnutfest at EASY May 4

Saturday should be nice weather. A bit cool so you will probably be wise to wear a long sleeve tee shirt over your shorts and flip flops. Hot fresh brewed, fresh ground Peets Coffee (Thank you Alan Kao for the coffee) and lots of doughnuts starting around 8:00AM. Rumor has it that we will have some French dudes in attendance. Looking forward to a big turnout. Kids, dogs, significant others, water cooled Porsches and all other mongrels are all welcome.

    Regards

Wish I could be there. Getting ready for 20 year Rgruppe Treffen. I'll see you at that I'm sure. Is your brown bomber ready to slide around the track? -Scott

Not quite ready. Actually it is essentially a roller without a motor and trans as I type this. I'm planning on installing the drive train on Friday but can't get into the upholstery/glass shop for 2 more weeks. It will be ready for most of the rest of the Summer, though. I'm going to poke around the track in my 356C at SPD.

    Regards

Well, it does have a 3.4L twin plug and big brakes but I'll spot you a lap or two.

A few pictures from this morning. We had a great turnout and ran out of doughnuts before 10:00AM. We had a crap load of them, too! The first two pictures are of some of the overflow crowd that got here too late to park on Harlan St. I didn't get a chance to talk to the owner of the stunning black car, but it was unbelievable!

    Regards

    Jim,

Is the EASY get together on for tomorrow? Haven't seen your usual post. Hope so. The weather is supposed to be terrific tomorrow.
