'. . . 1972 restored example was originally finished in the fantastic Albert Blue, and equipped from the factory with a sunroof, Blaupunkt radio, Michelin tires, and air-conditioning. Records indicate
this vehicle was regularly serviced early on by Norman Scott Porsche in Houston. This 911S has received well documented cosmetic, mechanical, and metal work over the years, with many receipts on file. This example features an exceptional black interior with sport seats. Significantly, this 911 also retains its matching-numbers drivetrain according to its Porsche COA.

Accompanied by an original owner's manual, tools, jack, and spare, this 911 S benefits from an attractive older restoration and was a part of The James G. Hascall Collection since 2006. With the rare combination of air-conditioning, sunroof, sports seats and Albert Blue paint

This car seems to struggle to find a permanent home. Other than the auction history and descriptions, anyone know anything about this car? Looks like the current owner is in Palo Alto, and had a Mitchell Le (no shop name or affiliation found) perform some significant mechanical work.

I looked this car over at Gooding and considered a bid. On the plus side, it is an original 72S sunroof coupe with the matching motor. However, the transmission is non-matching and the restoration looks like it was done at a time when standards were not as exacting as they are now. Hopefully, the car finds a good home.
