What I find deeply disappointing is that no attempt has been made to get in touch and work out some kind of compromise. Had it been the other way round I would have been very embarrassed that a good friend had to keep posting on here to highlight a problem which is now 3 years old.

I have had offers to intermediate between myself and Andrea but I feel I should be contacted directly.

I have no wheels, 3K paid within hours of the advert appearing and no refund. I have had no paperwork to justify shipping (as promised on an earlier page in this thread).

I am going to keep highlighting this thread periodically so that it is never forgotten.

    Regards

a few years back(5 or so) i met an other italian forum member and asked him whats up with andrea since he did not answer my mails regarding parts i wanted to buy from him. he did not say whats going on ,kind of wanting to protect him but i felt he did want to warn me. just when i left he sayed "be careful with sending him money"

That’s what I was thinking so I appreciate your input Franz.

My good nature always errs on the positive because I dealt with Andrea previously on some equally expensive (RS) items with no problems. However, it is unfortunate (in this community) that not everyone pulls through.

Despite having a good nature I am also tenacious and now I have the time I will make it one of my retirement projects to track Andrea down and ask for a refund face to face. I love a Contenental road trip and perhaps the only announcement of my arrival will be the roar of a flat six outside his door.

    Regards
