    1969E Passenger Floor Area - What is this?

    Looking behind my floor board, I see these circled areas. Looks like something was mounted there - any idea of what? Car was originally a Sporto. I also assume that the car did not come from the factory that way unless it is related to the sporto transmission. I also assume that the plate in the bottom circled area was added at some point, but not to cover rust. What, I wonder - related to the Sportomatic? Curious about what the experts think here.

    Scott, definitely not sporto. More likely to have been period radio stuff, like amplifier.
