    Yes, I took pictures when I took the car apart, but what I haven't done is write down in what order I did that... anyway, with a few books, manuals, the internet, and experts here, I'm sure we'll figure it out.

    Chassis is back on the rotisserie, and the underside is now rust protected and primed. Getting closer...

    Good point Bob, I only now see in the pictures of R6 that the tow hook bracket is welded on, so it should be on on the replica before paint.

    Even if Patrick did get the car done he still couldn't go as our prime minister wont let anyone leave the country!

    I am hoping to join this trip if we can get out,i was at the rs 40year anv they ran,a great event.

    I'm still hoping to have the car ready to make it to Sicily in 2023 (50 years after R6 won there), but September this year..... I'm going to be very glad if it's in paint by then, ready for the build up.
    @Hugh: sad isn't it, the two measures that are being used here. At least we can drive our cars beyond 5 or 25km again....

    @Yellow491 - very jealous, but if you take lots of pictures and share, I'll forgive ya

    We were there as well, even better than the 40th German RS ann. See you next year!
